The 95th Academy Awards’ Full List of Winners in 2023

The 95th Academy Awards on Sunday honored several of Hollywood‘s brightest personalities. In addition to winning seven of the 11 awards it was nominated for, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” also took home the best picture and best director awards.

The first Asian woman to win the Best Actress Oscar, Michelle Yeoh made history as the movie’s leading lady.

  • Best supporting actor: Ke Huy Quan, for “Everything Everywhere All at Once”
  • Best supporting actress: Jamie Lee Curtis, for “Everything Everywhere All at Once”
  • Best documentary feature film: “Navalny”
  • Best live-action short film: “An Irish Goodbye” 
  • Best cinematography: “All Quiet on the Western Front”
  • Best makeup and hairstyling: “The Whale”
  • Best costume design: “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”
  • Best international feature film: “All Quiet on the Western Front” (Germany)
  • Best documentary short film: “The Elephant Whisperers” 
  • Best animated short film: “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse”
  • Best production design: “All Quiet on the Western Front”
  • Best original score: “All Quiet on the Western Front”
  • Best visual effects: “Avatar: The Way of Water”
  • Best original screenplay: Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, for “Everything Everywhere All at Once”
  • Best adapted screenplay: Sarah Polley, for “Women Talking”
  • Best sound: “Top Gun: Maverick”
  • Best original song: “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR” 
  • Best film editing: “Everything Everywhere All at Once”
  • Best director: Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, for “Everything Everywhere All at Once”
  • Best actor: Brendan Fraser, for “The Whale”
  • Best actress: Michelle Yeoh, for “Everything Everywhere All at Once”
  • Best picture: “Everything Everywhere All at Once”

The night’s show featured performances from each of the five nominated best original song artists. Sofia Carson and Diane Warren performed “Applause” from “Tell It Like a Woman,” Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava sang “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR” for their Oscars debut, David Byrne, Son Lux, and Stephanie Hsu sang “This Is A Life” from “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” Lady Gaga sang “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick,” and Rihanna sang “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
